How to choose and use a facial cleansing brush
facial cleansing brushes are not new, but recent innovations have allowed them to invade the shelves of our stores. To test them, here's how to choose yours and how to use it.How it works ?
Manual brushes
The manual brushes are the oldest and also the simplest models. They consist of a handle and a brush with more or less hard bristles. To use it, just put some of your cleaner on the brush and rub your face with circular motions.
Rotating brushes
Rotating brushes run on electricity and consist of a handle and a rotating brush. Brushes are interchangeable according to your needs and the use you want to make: erase, wash ...
Vibrating brushes
The latest in facial cleansing brushes, these brushes do not spin anymore, but they vibrate! This increases the effectiveness of cleaning or scrubbing.
How to choose?
Manual, rotary or vibrating
If you are not a fan of technology, the simplicity of the manual brush will please you. If you like the convenience of high-tech items but do not run after the latest innovations, you'll appreciate the rotating brush. If you are the first to buy the new Smartphone out, then it's a safe bet that you will choose the vibrating brush!
Depending on your skin type
Adapt the hardness of the bristles of your brush, whether manual or electric, to the sensitivity of your skin. The more fragile it is, the more flexible the hair must be. If it is really sensitive, prefer a manual brush to better control friction.
If your skin is oily and / or prone to acne, do not make the mistake of choosing a very hard bristle brush. "Stripping" your face is not the right solution, to repair itself, your skin could produce excess sebum.
Depending on your budget
The smaller budgets will choose a manual brush because we find less than 10 €.
Those who do not count for their beauty purchases will be able to choose a vibrating brush, these are the most expensive ones. Count between 60 € and more than 100 € to acquire this innovation.
Want to please you while remaining reasonable? The rotating brush is a good compromise, it costs between 20 € and 50 €.
